#WorstSummerJob, Fallon’s Twitter Trend Makes Us Cringe and Reminisce

Recently, Jimmy Fallon of The Tonight Show started a trend on Twitter with the hashtag, WorstSummerJob. The hashtag phenomenon took the world by storm, becoming the number one trending topic for 4 hours. While I can honestly say that I have never had a bad summer job, some of you can!

From shoveling expired peanut butter to mowing lawns at a cemetery, the #WorstSummerJob trend has left us laughing, crying, and discussing the awful jobs we all once held during our summer vacations. Some of the jobs listed are an HR nightmare, while others are just plain embarrassing or disgusting.

  1. Is it wrong to want more information about shoveling expired peanut butter? Shoveling it from where and to where? And is unexpired peanut butter also handled with shovels? Inquiring minds want to know!
