Building online talent community for recruiting strategy success

  1. What is one simple way to begin developing an online community?
Listening to your audience is the best way. Pay attention to Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn comments and discover what your potential community wants and needs. And by providing valuable responses are systematically developing the all-important trust factor.
  2. Why is showing your ‘human face’ to your online community necessary?
Todays job seekers want to engage and work with brands they like. In showing your ‘human’ face’ you allow your community to better know it. And also develop the ‘likability’ factor.
  3. Why and how do these 3 strategies show your online community you value them?
    1)
The top way is showing them respect by regularly responding to comments made; even loyal followers will jump ship if you don’t. 2) Nothing says appreciation more than a free gift. Periodically provide useful resources. 3) Openly and regularly thank them for adding to the online conversation.
