Media outlets report a WC judge in Oklahoma knew he was not being reappointed. Contemplating being out of work, he met with an attorney for lunch to negotiate a possible job at his firm.
What’s wrong with that? The judge had just heard a case involving the attorney an hour or so before. The next day he found against the injured worker seeking WC for a work-related knee injury and for the client of his lunchtime companion.
“I’m pretty ticked about this,” the injured worker told The Oklahoman’s NewsOK.com/watchdog.
