Epicor Software Corp, a business software company based in Irvine, CA, has agreed to purchase Denver, Colorado SPECTRUM Human Resource Systems for $16 million dollars. The deal is expected to close by December 31, 2010, according to a recent Epicor press release.
Spectrum’s web-based human resource and talent-management solutions will transfer to the newly formed Epicor Human Capital Management (HCM) group. “The opportunity to deliver this comprehensive best-in-class HRMS creates new market opportunities both domestically and internationally,” said George Klaus, chairman, president and CEO of Epicor.
Epicor plans on continuing to develop Spectrum’s iVantage HRIS system, an applicant tracking and workforce management solution. The offering will be immediately available to customers as an extension of the Epicor ERP solution.
