Just My E-pinion

It’s been a struggle (to say the least) to manage compensation with all the recent economic pressures. With little or no money available, how do you keep employees motivated? Help us find out by completing our brief cash compensation survey—and we’ll share the results in a future issue.

For years, BLR® has surveyed HR and benefits professionals to find out their actual compensation and benefit offerings. This year, we have expanded our survey program by conducting a series of brief, targeted surveys. Today’s topic: Cash Compensation.

We want to find out how companies like yours are coping with compensation, and in return for filling out our brief survey, we’ll share the results so you can get an idea of how you measure up and what alternatives you could be considering.

Here are the issues we’re probing in our survey:

  • Which types of cash compensation (base, incentive, bonus, options profit sharing, etc.) are you offering?
  • How does your program differ by department (e.g., admin, sales, HR, manufacturing, etc)?
  • How does your program differ by level (e.g., executive, middle management, professional, exempt, nonexempt)

Results will be presented in a future issue of the HR Daily Advisor.

Please take a few minutes to complete this brief survey.

By sharing your insight, opinions, and experience, you’ll help us highlight trends and define benchmarks—by industry, geographic location, and size of employer—that will inform your decision-making for the coming year. At the same time, you’ll find out how your fellow HR professionals are handling tricky compensation challenges, and you’ll be able to compare your practices with those of your competitors.

Again, the findings of this survey will be analyzed and reported in a future issue of HR Daily Advisor.
