A new video released by 1 Million for Work Flexibility, the first national initiative to create a collective voice in support of work flexibility, highlights the broad range of reasons why workers need flexible workplace policies—as well as the business sense behind providing work flex.
“Work flexibility is something that is wanted by all kinds of people from all walks of life and for all types of reasons,” said Sara Sutton Fell, the founder of 1 Million for Work Flexibility, FlexJobs, and Remote.co. “Our goal of 1 Million is to get a million people to raise their hands in support of work flexibility because we believe in the power of numbers—the more people who bring their voice to the table, the more we can actually get done.”
In the video, Mika Cross, a federal workplace policy strategist, shares her experience as a working mom in the military and how flexible work policies allow people to do their best work.
