To better understand how fertility impacts the workplace, Carrot Fertility surveyed 5,000 people across the U.S., UK, Canada, India, and Mexico. Carrot asked questions to get a sense of how people around the world feel about fertility topics at work and how they want to be supported in their fertility and family-forming journeys. Results include:
- 72% would stay at their company longer if they had access to fertility benefits
- 42% of respondents say that a new job offer with no fertility benefits would be a “deal breaker”
- Only 32% of respondents seeking to grow their families say they are able to afford fertility treatments if needed
- 55% report that fertility challenges have detrimentally impacted their work performance
