Disgruntled comedy writers for the TV show “Fashion Police” weren’t so funny on the picket line in front of E! headquarters in LA—their chants were X-rated!
The comedy writers have filed a complaint with the state against the entertainment network and Joan Rivers’ production company over “unfair labor practices and violations of California wage and hour law,” says a statement by their union, Writers Guild of America West.
According to media reports, the writers shouted some of the comedienne’s signature lines while picketing, including “what are we, chopped liver?” They also waxed poetic with “We’re still poor, you’re still rich—give us back our paycheck, b@#*&,” among other chants.
Reports say the writers want around $1 million in restitution. Guess Joan is waiting for them to calm down before she asks them, “Can we talk?”
