Apparently, not everyone was happy with the employee-of-the-month award at a Florida Walmart.
According to local police reports, the award recipient’s car was shot at by a coworker who was upset over the decision. (Perhaps he thought he deserved it?) He allegedly argued with the woman about their workload.
Surveillance cameras caught the coworker parking, rolling down the window, and firing into the car. No one was in the car.
A Walmart representative told CBS 4 News that the employee who shot at the automobile no longer works for the company.
On a stranger note, they also said that the employee-of-the-month award is purely for recognition; there are no gifts or money involved.
