It’s just one room, but don’t think Little House on the Prairie schoolhouse. According to Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, the new building on his corporate campus boasts “the largest open floor plan in the world—a single room that fits thousands of people.”

The new 430,000-square foot building in Menlo Park, California, has a completely open interior space—that can fit up to 2,800 employees! But wait, it’s simple, not fancy, says founder Mark Zuckerberg. No, says HRSBT, it’s mind-boggling.
While not “fancy,” the Menlo Park, California, building was designed by legendary architect Frank Gehry, famous for the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao . And to top it off, there is a 9-acre “living roof” garden with walking trails and areas for mindful meditation in nature—or work!
The open area boasts artwork from Northern California artists and sculptors, including some Facebook “artists in residence,” and there are rooms for private meetings, including one that is actually a ball pit, reports the Daily Mail. And the open space is designed for maximum collaboration, according to Zuckerberg.
