Bipartisan legislation known as the Protecting Affordable Coverage for Employees Act (PACE Act) has just passed in Congress—good news for employers with 51 to 100 employees.
The PACE Act removes a mandate that was to take effect January 1, 2016 for employers with between 51 and 100 employees that would have deemed them ‘small employers’ under health insurance market provisions. President Obama is expected to sign the legislation.
