Improper Distributions Lead to $1.73 Million Settlement for Healthcare Provider

A federal judge has ordered an Illinois home healthcare provider and two of its officers to repay a total of $1,736,339 to the Alliance Home Healthcare Inc. Profit Sharing Plan.

An investigation by the Employee Benefits Security Administration in Chicago, an agency of the Department of Labor (DOL), found that Alliance Home Healthcare Inc., President Dalisay Sulit, and Secretary/Treasurer Reginaldo Sulit improperly transferred and distributed more than $1.6 million from the profit sharing plan to themselves, the company, and others.
