Most Employers Have Written Overtime Policies, Poll Finds




Sixty-six percent of
HR professionals surveyed in a new poll report that their companies have
written policies requiring employees to get advance approval before working
overtime. Another 25 percent say that they have unwritten policies requiring
prior approval, and 9 percent report that their companies do not require
approval for overtime. The nationwide poll, which was conducted by
Connecticut-based Compensation.BLR.com, included 287 respondents.
