State High Court Won’t Review Salary Basis Case

In the December issue of CWHA,
we reported on a California appeals court decision holding that an employer’s
disability leave policies and practices didn’t violate the salary basis
requirement for exempt employees.
1 The employees in the case asked the California
Supreme Court to review the decision—but the high court has now denied review,
which means the appeals court decision remains good law.
