Employers must become “Talent Mobilizers,” according to Dr. Susan Lawley of Lee Hecht Harrison. Talent must be positioned to quickly adapt to rapid change, which means developing a “hyper-efficient workforce” with “just-in-time employees who are skilled, prepared, and ready to move into new roles quickly,” Lawley explained at the American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration (ASHRRA) Region 1 Conference in Hartford, CT.
“Mobilizing a workforce,” according to Lee Hecht Harrison’s 2015 Talent Mobility Research Report, “means equipping people to take on new responsibilities or move quickly into new roles as business needs require.” To become Talent Mobilizers, Dr. Lawley asserts, employers must (1) understand, (2) develop, and (3) deploy talent.
