The U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) has released its final rule implementing Executive Order (EO) 13665, Non-Retaliation for Disclosure of Compensation Information. The EO prohibits federal contractors from discharging or discriminating against employees or applicants who inquire about, discuss, or disclose their own compensation or the compensation of another employee or applicant.
On September 10, 2015 the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) released its final rule implementing Executive Order (EO) 13665, Non-Retaliation for Disclosure of Compensation Information. The EO, signed by President Obama in April, 2014 amended section 202 of Executive Order 11246 to prohibit federal contractors from discharging or discriminating in any way against employees or applicants who inquire about, discuss, or disclose their own compensation or the compensation of another employee or applicant.
