HR Work Break: ICYM The Civil Rights Act Turns 60

Tuesday July 2 was the 60th anniversary of the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The act prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex or national origin. And, in the HR world, this legislation stops discrimination on the basis of sex, as well as, race in hiring, promoting, and firing.
