2016 has finally arrived, and with it comes the predictions of what employers can expect for the following year. Last year saw rises in paid sick leave laws, gender equality issues, and proposed overtime regulations. What will 2016 have in store? Executive Vice President of Staples Advantage North America, Neil Ringel, offers insights into the growing trends for this year.
“Advancements in technology and an increasingly diverse and mobile workforce are changing how we work,” said Ringel. “In order to stay abreast of these trends, businesses must offer perks that help create a more productive, healthy and happy workforce. Increasing investments in technology, redesigning office spaces and implementing wellness initiatives are some of the priorities businesses should keep in mind in 2016.”
