G2 Crowd has released its spring 2015 rankings of the best recruiting software, based on user reviews and market presence. Two platforms earned Leader status, while iCIMS Recruit topped overall satisfaction rankings.
The updated Grid℠ report for recruiting platforms, published today by business software review site G2 Crowd, ranks 12 products to help purchasers select recruiting software.
The spring 2015 report is based on more than 350 reviews written by HR and recruiting professionals.
The Grid℠, which is created from G2 Crowd’s software review platform, factors in customer satisfaction reported by users and vendor market presence determined from social and public data to rank products.
G2 Crowd defines “recruiting software” as software that is designed to facilitate the sourcing, hiring, and onboarding of new employees. The software G2 includes in this category primarily focuses on one or more areas of the recruiting process. G2 notes that some organizations choose to use multiple recruiting tools based on their needs.
To be placed in the Leader category, a product must receive a high customer satisfaction score and have substantial market presence. LinkedIn Talent and UltiPro were named Leaders.
Those in the High Performers category have high customer satisfaction scores with a smaller market presence than Leaders. SilkRoad, iCIMS Recruit, Jobvite, Jobscience, and CATS were named High Performers. iCIMS Recruit earned the highest overall customer satisfaction score.

The satisfaction rankings are generated from the user reviews; market presence is calculated from vendor size, market share, and social impact. Based on a combination of these scores, each software solution is categorized as a Leader, High Performer, Contender, or Niche.
